Challan filed against two accused persons in a murder case

Bandipora, 10 Dec 2016: Police today filed a challan before Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora against two accused persons in a murder case in Aloosa village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
One person namely Abdul Rehman Dar S/o Mohammad Sultan Dar age about 60 years was murdered on 13th of November 2016 on land dispute , Fir No:161 of 2016 under 302 RPC was registered in Police Station Bandipora, Police Station Bandipora concluded investigation in Aloosa Murder case and  submitted charge sheet against two accused persons namely Mohd. Ramzan Dar and Mohd. Yousuf Dar under section 302 RPC before the Honourable Court of chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora. Advocate Ab Rashid khan submitted attorney on behalf of accused persons and case has been committed to Sessions Court Bandipora and the next hearing has been fixed on 24 December 2016.




A police official said that police filed challan in a case FIR no. 161/2016 under section 302 RPC against Muhammad Ramzan Dar and Muhammad Yousuf Dar(ex-sarpanch)-both residents of Aloosa.Both the accused are involved in the killing of an elderly man Abdul Rehman Dar resident of Aloosa over a land dispute in Aloosa,” he said.

SHO Bandipora Syed Gazanfur said that during the investigation of the case it has come to fore that both the accused were involved in the killing of Abdul Rehman Dar (60) over a land dispute involving their apple orchards on November 13 this year.A 60-year-old man was killed over a land dispute in Aloosa village of Bandipora on November 13.The deceased was identified as Abdul Rehman Dar(60), son of Muhammad Sultan Dar, resident of Lahipora Aloosa.
Reportedly two families had got involved in a scuffle over a land dispute involving their apple orchards.The deceased was hit by a spade during the scuffle and died on spot.
