Army organised medical cum vet at Behibagh Kulgam

Kulgam, 03 Jan 15. Under the aegis of Chinar Corps a Medical cum Veterinary camp was organised to support the efforts to help the people of South Kashmir at Behibagh area of Kulgam .The area is witnessing extreme cold weather with temperature dropping to minus 5 degrees.  The medical camp provided door step medical and specialist attention to the people.

The camp was organized in conjunction with the civil administration and had specialists from various field from civil and the Army. The camp received a large number of patients of all age groups, including women and children. A total of 393 patients were treated. The medical cum veterinary camp also treated 82 animals during the camp.

The camp received an overwhelming response from the people and the camp turned out to be a great success and achieved its aim of creating health awareness and providing free medical aid to the people in remote areas.
