Act against separatists exploiting youth: BJP to Mufti

The Kashmir Scenario

Srinagar, June 27: Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday asked the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who is also the Home Minister of the state, to take stern action against the separatists who are exploiting the youth.

According to statement issued to Kashmir Scenario the BJP spokesman Khalid Jehnagir said: “It’s unfortunate that separatists are exploiting youth and are instigating them to raise Pakistan and IS flags and attack the mainstream politicians. Such tactics are intolerable. Chief Minister should take a serious note of it and act.”

The BJP spokesman expressed dismay over some miscreants attacking the vehicles of the party leaders Sheikh Rashid and Arif Raja in old city and trying to assault them. “In democracy perceptions may differ but there is no place for violence in the civilized society,” he added.

Jehangir said, “The government needs to address the root cause rather than taking cosmetic measures. Police should identify the people who instigate these youth and organize such protests. Till masterminds behind these acts are not nailed, stone pelting, youth raising flags and mainstream politicians being targeted would continue.”Jehangir said that BJP would take up this matter with the Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh and apprise him about the present situations
