65 Years old Woman Who Died Before Couple of Days Tests Positive, Death Toll Jumps to 23 in J&K

Srinagar, May 25(KNB): Jammu and Kashmir’s  death toll rose to 23 after sample reports of an elderly woman from South Kashmir’s Kulgam district who died some days before returned positive on Monday.

As per the reports, a 65-year-old lady from Bugam Kulgam who died couple of days ago was admitted at SMHS Hospital with bilateral pneumonia, her reports came today positive for COVID-19 taking the total death toll to 3 in Kulgam and overall 23 in J&K.

Earlier this morning, 63-year-old lawyer resident of Trikuta Nagar admitted in Jammu hospital  suffering from underlying ailments  returned positive for the deadly  Caronavirus after his death at the hospital.

As of now 1621 confirmed cases have been recorded in Jammu and Kashmir with 791 cases active, 23 deaths and 809 recoveries so far. (KNB)
