3 CRPF men, one cop injured in Magam grenade attack

Srinagar, August 14: A day before Independence Day, militants hurled a grenade on government forces at Magam area of Budgam district, resulting in injuries to three paramilitary CRPF men and one cop of Jammu and Kashmir police.
Sources said militants attacked a party of CRPF at Magam this afternoon by hurling the grenade which exploded with a big bang.
Three CRPF and one police personnel sustained splinter injuries in the grenade attack and all of them were removed to the hospital, sources said.




Soon after the attack, large posse of police, Army and CRPF rushed to the spot and launched searches to track down the attackers.(GNS
