Parra Seeks MEA Intervention In Tracing Missing Kashmiri Youth

Family worried for their son missing in Dubai
SRINAGAR 09 August(KNB): People’s Democratic Party, Youth leader, Waheed Ur Rehman Para on Thursday seeks intervention of Union Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj and Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh for missing Kashmiri Youth in Dubai.




“Irfan Ahmad Zargar S/o: Late Bashir Ahmad Zargar R/o: Chana Mohalla Chattabal Srinagar was working at Du Telecom Company in Dubai as a Computer Engineer. He was residing at: 1603 old Abdul Aziz (B) Block Al Nahda Dubai Sharjah Border. While he was travelling back to Dubai from Oman and since has been no track of him,” informed his worried family members.
They further added that, “after establishing contact with his roommates, they said that their flat was raided mid night by some armed men which took Irfan along with them and refrained his roommates to establish any contact with him.”
Meanwhile, it has been months now since he is missing. His passport number is: P8576968.
There are no whereabouts of Irfan since then and even Dubai Police is not agreeing upon giving basic information about him. Waheed Parra while seeking Sushma Swaraj’s and Rajnath Singh’s intervention in the case said,
“ We have been following the case from months and family is in trouble for want of their son. We request and seek intervention of Hon’ble Union Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj Ji and Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh towards the missing youth of Kashmir in Dubai which will bring a sigh of relief among the worried family,” says Parra.




He further added that, “I am not very well aware of the intricacies of the cases against him, but Irfan is a promising young boy and the only hope of his family,” adds Parra.
While appealing on humanitarian grounds and seeking MHA and MEA intervention in tracing him out, Para said, “It will be one of the most important confidence building measures towards the youth of Kashmir and will help in larger integration of Valley’s youth towards mainstream.”
